The Butter Churner is used to convert pasteurized cream into butter and buttermilk by mechanical agitation. It provides uniform churning and efficient phase separation.
Working Principle:
- Pasteurized cream is loaded into the churner.
- The drum rotates at a controlled speed, agitating the cream.
- Fat globules coalesce to form butter, and buttermilk separates naturally.
- After churning, buttermilk is drained through the outlet valve.
- The butter is washed and worked to achieve desired texture and moisture before discharge.
